The House of Representatives is set to complete the deliberation of the tax amnesty bill and pass it into a law in the middle of June, a lawmaker has said.

House Commission XI overseeing finance and banking chairman Ahmadi Noor Supit said it was expected that the tax amnesty draft law could be passed into law in a plenary meeting set for June 16.

"I'm certain we can finish deliberating the bill. We're striving to create one voice. In the end, it all depends on the government's readiness," the Golkar Party lawmaker told journalists on Wednesday.

The House's working unit deliberating the bill has been synchronizing the controversial bill with a government team in closed meetings for two weeks.

However, the deliberation of the bill itself is still in the preliminary stage, in which the House lawmakers discuss the bill’s key points, which are divided into several clusters.

The House has said it is still waiting for the government's explanation on several issues, such as on the implementation of several articles and the preparedness of investment instruments that would accept asset repatriations.

The government has high hopes for the repatriations.

Finance Minister Bambang S. Brodjonegoro previously targeted government earnings of Rp 180 trillion ( US$13.16 billion ) from repatriations if the bill was passed. The Finance Ministry recorded 6,519 Indonesia citizens living abroad.

Speaking separately, House Deputy Speaker Agus Hermanto, however, said that the amount of funds collected with the passing of the bill remained unknown
.
"We must have certainty on the impacts, human rights protections, and all good governance-related aspects from the tax amnesty implementation," said the Democratic Party politician.
The House failed to meet its initial target of passing the bill into a law in its previous sitting session, which ended on April 29.

Supit said  Commission XI would start working on the revised 2016 state budget next week. Deliberations on the tax amnesty bill will be completed prior to the revised state budget, he added.

In the tax amnesty bill, the government offers tax breaks to individuals and compan
ies who declare their untaxed wealth.

Separately, the government plans to revise the state budget to a more realistic figure, including its tax revenue target.

For the 2016 state budget, the total tax revenue target is currently set at Rp 1.36 quadrillion, or 28.2 percent higher than the Rp 1.06 quadrillion achieved in 2015. ( ebf )

Articles : DIRECT AND INDIRECT SPEECH
Direct speech is a sentence that shows directly from a person's speech. The sentence was given a punctuation mark ( ") While the indirect speech is a sentence which retells utterances someone to be delivered back.
Which should be noticed in making sentences indirectly from direct sentences are:
Their time change: When reporting verbnya is say, ask, advise, order, etc.
Note:
To change direct to indirect, hilangkanlah ( ') and the comma (') opening and closing quotation marks, and then add that word.
 -  Imperative sentence :
Direct Speech: She said, "Do not do that again!" (He said, "Do not do it again!)
Indirect Speech: She of toll me to do not do that again. (He told me to do it again!)
Direct Speech: She said, "Do your task now!" (He said, "Do your duty now!)
Indirect Speech: She said to me to do my task then. (He told me to do my job later)
Direct: My aunt said, "Do not spill it on the couch!" (My aunt said, "Do not spill it on the sofa!)
Indirect: My aunt of toll me not to spill it on the sofa. (My aunt said that do not spill it on the carpet)
Note:
All you have to consider the sentence is to command and not to for Indirect Speech (if it starts with the sentence do not in Direct Speech)
Quantity asked:

Direct: "What is your occupation?" She asked ( "What do you do?" He asked)
Indirect: She asked me what my occupation was. (He asked me what I do)
Direct: She asked, "Where do you come from?" (He asked, "Where do you come from?")
Indirect: She asked me where I come from. (He asked me where did I come from?)
Direct: "Do you know the real story?" (Do you know the true story?)
Indirect: He asked me if (Whether) I KNEW the real story. (He asked me if I knew the true story?)
Note:

To the words of W + 1H five questions (what, where, why, how, when, etc), friend - friends must place and adjust tensesnya first. But if there is no word Tanya, friend - friends bias to begin with if or Whether.

In changing news interrogative sentence into a sentence, the sentence was a question mark is replaced by a point (not asked) in indirect speech.

change Direct Speech Indirect Speech Become
direct and indirect speech Generally direct speech can be converted into indirect speech by removing the quotation marks and capital letters (the initial letters of the word in quotation marks omitted), add words that / Whether / if, adjust pronoun, verb, and / or time reference.
Example of changes :

Direct Speech
Indirect Speech
Explanation
Statement

"I like eating out," said Vina.
(I like to eat outside.)

Vina said that she liked eating out.
(Vina said that she likes to eat outside.)

Quotation marks omitted, pronoun I changed to she (the third), and the verb like changed to past tense liked assuming Vina no longer like to eat outside or the messenger just focus on past conversations.

But if the verb can be fixed like the messenger believe the statement is still valid, for example because it is delivered as soon as the messenger hear those words.
